From Sluice Point the experienced paddler has easy access to the many islands in Lobster Bay or can paddle around Surettes Island and Morris Island coming back to the access point. This upper bay area has forceful currents as the inner parts of the bay spill water through the narrow channels or the tides run in. You can get whitewater conditions. Be aware of mud flat areas at lower tide levels. At Carl's Grocery in Sluice Point you can get groceries, subs, sandwiches, water, hardware and gas.
