Sandford Harbour is a photographic and artistic delight and a frequently visited tourist location. The area lays claim to having the world's smallest working drawbridge crossing the narrow channel between one side of the wharf and the other. The gravel beach areas are the best places for access as the wharves have no ramps. During summer paddling season there is plenty of out of the way parking available.
