Jody has given permission to use his property behind the boat shop as an access site. This access totally depends on the tide. It makes for a good paddle around the entire Pubnico Harbour, whether leaving from the Lower East Pubnico Wharf or Dennis Point Wharf.
If a group is paddling and you only want to paddle one way itis convenient to arrange to be shuttled.
At Pubnico Head near where the #3 and #103 highway join there is a garage and convenience store that provides supplies and water. Next door to the garage/store is the Pubnico Lions Hall located right next to the road. The local Lions Club welcomes bikers, hikers and kayakers to tent overnight. There is water for washing and an outside toilet. Also for your convenience there are other stores, accomodations, and places to eat within walking distance if you have paddled up into the Pubnico Harbour.
