This access gives the paddler a chance to explore Yarmouth Harbour from the west side. It has easy access at all tide levels. However, the full harbour cannot be paddled at low tide. Don't get stranded on mud flat! This is a good starting point to paddle out towards the Cape Forchue light. Caution: Portland and Bar Harbour ferries arrive and depart several times a day. Stay well out of their way!
