Paddlers are welcome to stop by here and enjoy a hot meal at the Fishermens Haven Restaurant, located right at the wharf. A public telephone and public washrooms are available for use. This is good chance to chat to the local fishermen and learn about this friendly fishing village.
Conveniences helpful in Woods Harbour are: Red and White Convenience Store, Anthony's Convenience store, Captain Wayne's Cafe, and Petro Can self serve gas pumps (Petro credit card only). The Samuel Wood Historical Society Museum, located right in Woods Harbour, displays artifacts from the past as well as from the fishing industry.
