Cook's Beach is a long shingle bar that extends north back toward the mouth of the Chebogue River. The turn onto the beach is to the west just after you cross a marsh area but before you reach the rock storm control wall. It is easy to miss. By summer there is usually a 'graded' roadway to the end of the bar. It is a good access point for the lower Chebogue River and the coast to the south.
